Two years ago - in an attempt at bringing in more invigorated NEW blood and, thereby rejuvenating the associatiom, yours truly chose not to seek re-election as President and stepped back as Board Voted President Emeritus. The Board's efforts were then channelled toward finalizing the march toward the elimination of taxation on RVs and Park Models. This effort was largely financed from association funds and an associated effort champiomed mostly by Eugene Flynn. The Board apparently then lost interest in championing much needed protections for those living in rental manufactured home/RV communities and in its infinite wisdom decided to abandon these goals and to dissolve the association. This has now been accomplised and treaury balance has been distributed to charitable organizations. Unfortunately, these organizations are not chartered to assist those which have been part of this organization but as the French might say = "C'est la vie".
It is my intent to keep this site open for the remaining time left on the paid fee (Paid by the writer) and to be available for the dissemination of available information and for the referral to proper agencies which might help regarding proferred problems dealing with primarily manufactured homes.
It is sad that there will not be an official organization in Texas dedicated toward gaining legislation needed for protection of those living in dictatorially inclined managers representing out of state conglomerates whose main concern is their bottom line.
Again - I guess = "C'est la vie"
