ANNOUNCEMENT OF

PRELIMINARY CLASS ACTION SETTLEMENT

If you financed a mobile home through Green Tree Financial Corporation or its

successor, Conseco Finance Corp., and you obtained your property insurance on the

home through Green Tree Financial Corporation, Green Tree Agency, Conseco Finance

Corp. or Conseco Agency, you may be a member of a class that has been preliminarily

certified in the Circuit Court of Waupaca County, Wisconsin, Cause no. 96-CV-153.

Claim forms are due August 25, 2006.

If you still live at the same address as you did when you acquired the insurance, you

should be receiving a notice and a claim form. If you do not receive a notice and claim

form by July 28, 2006, you should immediately contact the office of one of the plaintiffs'

attorneys, D. Michael Campbell [Campbell & Associates, 523 East Central Avenue,

Winter Haven, Florida 33880, phone: (863) 292-9929] and provide your name and

address and request a notice and claim form as to the Green Tree settlement.

Depending on the number of claims received, there will be as much as $150 paid on each

claim.
